Tai-Yu Chen

I’m currently a computer engineering major + math minor at UCLA. My interests are mostly in performance and security for systems, whether that be distributed ML or embedded. In another life, I would’ve been an architect.

The past summer, I worked on the communications system making planes autonomous at Reliable Robotics. Before the summer, I took a quarter off from school to work on authentication for satellite-based telecom at Starlink Mobile.

…And before that, I was at UCLA’s ELFIN Lab where I wrote a filesystem that flew on a NASA-funded weather balloon.
